Many thanks to Dr. Taylor and his staff! They are amazing! I called and they got me in right away last Wednesday with by dog Bo! After finding out what was wrong they kept him and said they would do the surgery as quickly as possible! They worked him in same day. Took great care of him until he came home on Friday!! Called me on Saturday to see how he was doing, I so appreciate
How fortunate I was to find this vet. I had vetted with the same vet for 30 years. He retired unfortunately his office went to heck I took my Australian Shepherd puppies in there yesterday for their final examinations, deworming, Health certificates at the end of my visit the vet Scott was actually carrying one of the puppies around loving it. When is the last time you seen a vet do that??? They are caring and loving and I couldn't ask for better people to care for my fur babies I highly recommend them five stars Plus
Thank you all so much for caring about our pets as much as we do! We have been bringing our pets to you for a little over 16 years and the staff has been there for us during the toughest times. You have cried with us when 3 of our 4 pets had emergencies and we weren't sure they were going to make it through, and rejoiced with us when they recovered. We've had to put both our precious dogs to sleep within the past 2 1/2 years... most recent was Jazz on May 11th.
You are like family to us!
Acute moist dermatitis, more commonly known as hot spots, occurs due to a bacterial infection on your pet’s skin. Your dog or cat will naturally bite, chew, lick or scratch his skin in response to an irritant. Unfortunately for your pet, this tends to increase rather than decrease his discomfort. Anal gland disease, allergies to fleas or food ingredients, mange, tick bites, and inadequate grooming are the primary causes of hot spots in companion animals.
If you only visit our Kendallville Animal Clinic when your pet is injured or sick, you’re missing the opportunity to get a complete picture of her health. The preventive care exam allows our veterinarians to detect potential health issues and begin monitoring or treating them right away. By committing to preventive care, you could extend it by months or years. It’s well worth the investment when you consider how much love and joy your pet brings into your life.
Your pet is part of the family and you naturally care about her safety. You also want to include her in family activities whenever possible over the carefree days of summer. By keeping the following safety tips in mind, your entire family can have a summer to remember.
